May This Simple Poem Remind Every Soul that True Ascension Is Not a Leaving of the World Behind, but Awakening to the Eternal Light Within

To Revered Supreme Master Ching Hai and the beloved Supreme Master TV team. With deep gratitude and respect, I would like to share an inner vision that occurred around 1998, 11 years before I received the Quan Yin initiation. This vision was so real and sacred, it awakened my awareness to the smallness of humankind in the face of the Universe and the immensity of God’s all-encompassing Love. I present it in the form of a poem. Thank you.

Journey Toward the Light

That afternoon, my body was asleep, but my soul was awake. Slowly, I was lifted off the Earth, floating lightly in the stillness of the Light. Mount Batur welcomed me with its warm and gentle breath. Three times I circled its summit, as if greeting an old friend who still recognized my soul. Then Mount Agung called, glorious and majestic like prayers. Three times I circled above its crater, gazing at unspoken secrets within the depths of its silent fire.

Then, the Sun opened up, a boundless ocean of gold. A female guide whispered, “Look below.” And there I saw the Earth — small, black, the size of a coin, floating in the sea of eternity. In that moment, I understood — we are just dust, sparks dreaming themselves into form, with nothing to boast of except the Love that gives life to all. I stepped into the Sun. Without heat. Without glare. Just a soft white - peaceful void.

Then, as fast as lightning, I descended into a green meadow, vast grass unfolding, serene, eternal. There, the silence was beautiful, only peace murmuring without words. Yet the journey was not over. From that green meadow, I slowly rose once more to a height equal to the summit of Mount Batur. There stood two ancient buildings in Javanese-style, silent and empty, as if awaiting souls returning Home. I drew near, gazed into their stillness, and understood: every sacred journey is not a departure, but a return — toward the nameless Light dwelling within.
