My older boy, I saw him get to be about 21 years old, and he was just rendered incapable of anything he was meant to do in this world, in this life, and it was just dark, filled with emptiness and darkness exactly like those kids that I saw in the line. American woman Angie Fenimore shares how she ended her life in 1991, was taken to a realm of darkness reserved for suicides, and met Lord Jesus Christ (vegetarian)
Angie had a difficult childhood—her mother left when she was nine, and her father struggled afterward. By age 27, married with two sons aged two and five, Angie was overwhelmed by emotional pain. Feeling her children would be better off without her, she sent them to a neighbor’s house and took her own life on the couch. I realized, “Oh, this is happening, I’m leaving my body.” And I wanted to watch and so I opened my eye. And as soon as I did I was sucked back into my body. I eventually did this a few times, and then I just closed my eyes and willed it, and that was when I realized that will was part of this. Like, I was willing my own departure from this world.
Angie was taken into a life review beginning with her own birth. My mother had left when I was nine years old. I had grown up feeling like she didn’t want me… like, who leaves their two little girls. And suddenly what I experienced was very clearly, she wanted me and she loved me. This is my first inclination that my own personal myopic [near-sighted] view of myself— how I fit into this world, the way the world works, other people— was one point of view. Angie then experienced every moment of her life in chronological order, but from all perspectives, not just her own. I was able to see that we’re all just going through our own life, our own experience doing the best we can with what we’ve got. And, you know, I was able to see, my goodness, my mother was 18 years old when I was born. What 18-year-old is equipped to raise two little girls?
After her life review ended, a male Presence spoke to Angie in the darkness. I knew it was male, I knew that I knew Him, but I couldn’t see Him. I heard his voice, but it was more like there was definitely a voice, but it’s not like the way we speak. It was like this all-consuming knowing that came upon me. And He said, “This is the life you lived.” That was it. There was no drama, there was no significance about it. Just facts, these are the facts. So, at that point I realized I’m not in the physical world anymore.
Looking for deceased loved ones, Angie instead saw a line of teenagers beside her. There was a girl. She must have been about 16, and she had this stringy blonde hair. But the most interesting and captivating feature about her was the emptiness and the sadness, and the grief that had been just dwindled down to nothingness, like there was nothing there. No hope, no nothing. And I had the thought, you know, “What could be so bad in your life that you would choose to leave this world?” And it was at that point that I realized, oh wow, we have all done the same thing. We’ve all ended our lives.
Angie was then transported to what she describes as a “Beltway of Darkness.” I land in this space, and I’m looking around, and the first thing I notice is everybody is in filthy white robes, which surprised me. I didn’t expect it to be that literal. And the next thing I notice is how disconnected they are from each other. By this point, I’m realizing that thoughts are audible that you don’t have to speak something for it to be known, heard, or consumed. But these people don’t care what anybody else thinks at all. They’re just muttering, and some of them loudly about their own circumstances, “If only you had done this, then I wouldn’t be blah blah blah,” and just completely self-consumed. There’s this mist, but it’s not like a physical mist from this plane. It is a molecular darkness, and it’s sucking life. It’s sucking life from me and from all those there. One man, squatting in filthy robes, looked at Angie. She wondered if he was Judas Iscariot [who betrayed Lord Jesus]. At that moment, a pinpoint of light appeared in the distance.
I realized this is a Being of Light, that He’s made of Light, He was filled with white. And He just said, “Is this what you really want? You can’t skip over parts. We’ve all done this. You don’t deserve those kids you were given. You have been up to mischief, you’ve been trouble. You think that this is a good idea, but you have no idea what you’re doing and what awaits you.” And as soon as He said, “Is this what you really want?” I had the thought, “Well, I don’t have a choice.” I really felt like I had zero choice.
Then another Being appeared— one she could not see clearly, but Whose voice she recognized. And I heard His voice, and it was the same voice that had greeted me after my life review. And He said, “Don’t you understand? I’ve done this for you.” And as soon as He spoke those words, there were three things that happened all at the same time. I was taken into his body, and this was Christ, and I experienced Him in the Garden of Gethsemane [where He was betrayed], like I’m there with Him, experienced Him experiencing my life like beginning to end. And in that moment, I got there’s somebody, there is somebody else who knows what I’ve been through.
Despite this revelation, Angie still resisted— until she was shown what would happen to her two young sons. My youngest one got to the point of being about eight years old, and then he was taken because he could not do this life without his mother. And my older boy, I saw him get to be about 21 years old, and he was just rendered incapable of doing anything he was meant to do in this world, in this life. And he was just dark, filled with emptiness and darkness exactly like those kids that I saw in the line. That vision changed everything. Angie agreed to return and was pulled from the darkness, traveling back to her body. On the journey, she was told prophetic things and given spiritual knowledge.
I slipped back into my body, and as I do I sit up on the edge of the couch and I can see on a molecular level all my house plants are radiating light, like they are made of light. I can see information of light coming through my TV which is off. I can see like the past, the present, and the future. I could see that everything is made of these elements of darkness and spirit animated into physical form.
Angie now shares a message of love and acceptance to heal our planet, which she describes as having the “flu” due to human’s destructive and negative activities. If we all could just really get inside each other’s shoes, then in one moment war would end, hunger would end, all atrocity, all depravity would end in that moment if we could be in each other’s shoes.” (The Other Side NDE)
