This is the story of two Canadian men and how their lives were completely turned upside down, for the better, by a very special little female piglet. Steve Jenkins and Derek Walter found their pig-baby to be very smart, always cute, while sometimes naughty, and she stole their hearts. The couple went vegan, then placed pictures of their piglet on the internet. She became a world-famous star with loads of adoring fans. She and her proud dads went to live in the countryside with many other animal friends. As you may have guessed, I’m talking about none other than Esther the Wonder Pig-Person! Her intelligence kept on amazing them. By nine months, she was opening door handles with her snout, and the freezer had to be kept shut with tape. She even concocted “elaborate” plans to get food, such as her favorite ice pops and cookies from cupboards and the freezer, when she knew Steve and Derek were distracted. The couple were quickly experiencing, as experts have confirmed, that pig-people can be smarter than human toddlers. They have been proven to excel at video games by moving the joystick with their snouts and are amongst a handful of animal-folk species who recognize themselves in mirrors. Esther could be very naughty; when being toilet-trained, she would fake success just to get a cookie prize. Individuals from the pig kingdom are playful, friendly, sensitive, and intelligent, with social lives as complex as those of primates. They enjoy music, love playing with balls, and even appreciate massages, much like humans do. Although there were some very trying times with Esther, and she was already 113 kilograms even before her first birthday, Steve and Derek couldn’t give up on her. She was now considered part of the family. In 2009, Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) disclosed the importance of Loving Quality (LQ) and Noble Quality (NQ). “Many animal-people have higher LQ than humans. I’m sorry again. I’m also very sad to discover this. And also, size doesn’t matter, I just discovered as well. For example, for domestic animal-people, LQ ranges from high, as high as 300% to low of 80%. That’s for domestic animal-people. The following are some examples to give you an idea of animal-people’s average LQ. For example, the dog-people that you have at home, they have 110% LQ, that means more than 100%; pig-people, surprise, 120% LQ.”
