Sharing Initiative Organized in Vancouver, British Columbia: Promoting African Artists and Veganism

Revered Master, I humbly write to share with You an initiative I had the honor of organizing on March 28 in Vancouver, British Columbia. This event was dedicated to celebrating African women, particularly those living with disabilities, in recognition of their work and the beauty of their handmade artisanal creations. Having worked in Africa, especially in Côte d’Ivoire for two years, I wished to highlight and promote their craftsmanship among diverse communities here in Canada.

On this occasion, with the valuable support of my friend, who is devoted to the vegan path, we offered guests a table filled with vegan dishes along with their recipes. This experience allowed participants to taste, appreciate, and better understand the importance of respect for all living beings. My friend also led a workshop and talk on veganism and its positive effects, which was met with great interest.

Guests received bags containing vegan food and recipes, as well as gifts consisting of the handmade works created by these African women — true expressions of their resilience and creativity. Several cultural communities were present, including individuals of Iranian origin; as I was born in Tehran, this gathering held a particularly meaningful sense of connection and unity for me. Veganism has been an integral part of my life for several years, and my commitment to this cause remains unwavering.

I had deeply wished to be spiritually initiated; however, having now passed the age of 65, I continue on this path with sincerity and faith. During my mission, I organize interactive workshops to encourage vegan consumption — a task that often encounters resistance and misunderstanding. Nevertheless, from experience, I am convinced that the seeds sown take root and grow under the Divine Light of Supreme Master. Driven by a sincere desire to serve, I humbly pray that the Divine Light of Supreme Master Ching Hai may guide, enlighten, and accompany me on this path of service and compassion as I continue to undertake humanitarian missions in Africa.
