Judaism was the planet’s first monotheistic religion. The history, lessons, and laws of Judaism are written in the historic scroll called the Torah. The Torah is also known as the Five Books of Moses as well as the Chumash or even the Pentateuch. This great scroll, as the name indicates, is made of five books. The first book is Bresheit, known as Genesis in English. The second book is Shemot, known as Exodus in English. The third book is Vayicra, also known as Leviticus. The fourth book is Bamidbar, also known as Numbers, and the fifth book is Devarim, also known as Deuteronomy.
