United Hatzalah ("rescue" in Hebrew) is a medical emergency first response cooperative founded in 2006. Located all over lsrael, the independent non-profit serves everyone for free, regardless of race, religion or national origin. This Emergency Medical Services (EMS) entity is comprised entirely of volunteers and the largest EMS in lsrael. The 5,000-plus members are available 24/7, 365-days a year, arriving at the scene of a medical emergency, on average, in under 3 minutes! Moreover, can you believe it, in urban areas, the responders arrive in about 90 seconds!
