If you want to bring them along to be liberated with you, you have to practice the Quan Yin Method (meditation on the inner Heavenly Light and Sound). Because if you heal others’ illnesses, they’re sick today and can get sick again tomorrow. If they’re cured today or tomorrow, they may get sick again next year. You cannot heal all illnesses by using your hand, even when you guarantee with your life, it won’t work either. After they die, there’s nothing you can do to help liberate them. (I can’t.) That’s right. (GOD.) That’s right. Therefore, the best thing to do is to permanently save them. […] And the world has such a large population, can you touch every single one? You can’t. So many people are suffering, not just your family. Therefore, the ultimate way to save the most people, is still to practice the Quan Yin Method, and be able to transform thousands of billions of manifested bodies, having Heavenly hands and eyes, like the Quan Yin Bodhisattva. That’s when we truly save people, and without interfering with their karma. […]
I’m not saying that reciting sutras and worshipping the Buddha gives no response. If you’re sincere, there will be a response; but if you are not sincere, it’s useless for you to keep reciting. When I say it’s useless, I mean that kind of practice is useless. But even when it is useful, it’s not the ultimate usefulness. I did get responses, but it was unlike what we have through practicing the Quan Yin Method now, that kind of great response. […]
(Master, I’m not 12 years old yet, can I get full initiation?) How old are you? (Ten years old.) Ten. Then you wait until next year, next year or the year after. […] But I’m very pleased, seeing that you’re so young and already want to practice spiritually. When I was that young, I knew nothing about spiritual practice. Really, you are more blessed than I was. I don’t know how I became a Buddha just like that, and neither do I know why. So, don’t worry that you will not attain the Tao. […] Don’t look down upon him. Some little Bodhisattvas have plenty of inner experiences that I sometimes have to shut them down a little bit. Otherwise, he talks too much.
