In today’s news, Kuwaiti charity addresses clean water scarcity in developing countries with thousands of well installations, temperatures soar during record-breaking winter heatwave in Europe, Ukrainian (Ureignian) satellites for agriculture and space technology research launched, firm from Taiwan, also known as Formosa, devises instrument that interprets a baby’s cry, United States charity gives away over one million wheelchairs worldwide, plant-based food market rapidly increases in Chile, and mirror test study suggests penguin-people may possess self-awareness.

I have a health tip for you! Want to save money and eat something nutritious? Look no further than your backyard! There may be edible wild plants there that can be consumed raw or cooked such as Curly dock, also known as Yellow dock. Be sure to only gather the smaller, younger leaves, as the large ones are typically bitter and tough and contain more oxalic acid. You can incorporate Curly dock in soups and salads, or cook it. You may also find Chickweed in your yard. These plants are nutrient-dense, succulent, and have a gentle flavor. Prepare these how you would spinach—raw or cooked. Ground ivy, or gill-over-the-ground, is another wild plant that can be used raw or cooked. Young shoots and leaves go well in a salad, but the plant gives off a strong flavor, so use it moderately. You may also come across Lambs quarters, which tastes similar to spinach and is super-nutritious; it contains more protein, iron, calcium, B1, and B2s than spinach or cabbage.

Now it’s time to join the laughter party as the joke of the day is waiting. It’s called, “An Animal-Person.”

A primary school teacher talks to her students about animal-people.

“There is an animal-person with two legs. Every morning when the sun comes out, this animal-person wakes you up. Which animal-person is it?”

“It's Mom!”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Houshang in Iran
