Building a better future through good craftsmanship is something I both enjoy and promote widely. It’s no laughing matter, so I would like to share a tip on how to improve accessibility in your home. Adding outdoor ramps to your home's entryways makes it easier for wheelchair and walker users to access. In addition to assisting mobility devices, ramps offer a safer and more comfortable alternative to stairs, particularly beneficial for aging adults. Indoor threshold ramps provide similar advantages, allowing smooth transitions across rooms or doorways with minor steps or raised areas. Whether you decide to construct your own using online video guides or opt for pre-assembled options available for purchase online, installing ramps ensures convenient accessibility throughout your home.

The following joke is approved by the National Laughter Association. It’s called “Taking Chair of Yourself.”

An adventurous man was visiting Egypt and decided to take a swim in the Nile River. While swimming, he suddenly realizes a crocodile-person was swimming towards him.

“Oh man! Just keep calm, I’ll be OK. …Oh, I’m done for!”

The crocodile-person came up close to the terrified man, opening his mouth wide.

“Oh, don’t eat me, don’t eat me!”

The crocodile-guy however did not move and kept his mouth open. The man could see that there was something obstructing the poor crocodile-fellow’s throat.

“W-What’s that you’ve got there? S-s-something stuck?”

Trembling, the man reaches in and with, a bit of effort, pulls out a whole chair. The grateful crocodile-person was instantly relieved and slapped his tail in appreciation and joy as he swam away. The man was in shock and swam to the shore still holding the chair. He sat down on it when he got to the beach. A small crowd gathered around to see if he was OK. He replied:

“I’m OK. I’m OK. I just had to take a seat.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Ruby in Australia
