There is an herbal remedy for almost every ailment! Here is a rosemary harvesting tip for you. To ensure the greatest concentration of essential oils, it’s best to harvest in the morning, before the plant begins flowering. To do so, utilize a pair of sharp, pruning shears that have been sanitized, to remove the soft, green stems located right above a leaf node. Steer clear of cutting into woody parts to encourage healthy regrowth. Only harvest up to a third of the plant at a time to keep it from stressing. In colder climates, It’s recommended you finish harvesting at a minimum of two weeks prior to the first frost so the plant has time to prepare for winter. You can store fresh sprigs in a cup of water in the refrigerator, short-term, but make sure to change the water every few days. Alternatively, you can wrap them in a damp cotton towel and set them in a resealable bag. For long-term storage, put the sprigs in a freezer-safe bag or container and place them in the freezer. If they need to be dried, use a dehydrator or hang them upside down in a well-ventilated location until the leaves become brittle. Happy harvesting!

Ready your ribs and clear some space for a smile. This one is entitled “Excused.”

Frederick, a manager, noticed one of his employees had missed work the day before. He decided to ask her about it.

“Hey, everything OK? Were you sick? Anything I can help with?”

“I just couldn’t find a cute pair of shoes to go with my outfit. You can help by getting me this pair.”
