A garden of love is a garden of life. I have a gardening tip for you today. Experts recommend fertilizing your veggie garden when transplanting seedlings at the start of the season. Begin with a nitrogen-rich fertilizer like alfalfa meal, cottonseed meal, or soybean meal to support leafy growth. At the same time, add organic leaf mold compost to improve overall soil health. Keep the plants well-watered and continue with a balanced fertilizer during the growing stage. Once your vegetables reach the flowering phase, switch to a phosphorus-rich fertilizer to support fruit and vegetable production. To help remember, note your application dates in a calendar, especially for fertilizers recommended monthly or bi-monthly. After fertilizing, follow up with thorough watering to help nutrients reach the roots. Although organic fertilizers may cost more upfront, they enrich the soil long term, promote sustainable gardening, and protect the environment while nourishing your plants.

What better time for a laugh? Here’s your joke of the day! It’s called “Family Skills Package.”

Alayna was looking for a data-processing job. The interviewer asked:

“Can you type?”

Alayna answered excitedly:

“No, but my sister can!”
